This Privacy Policy explains how Loopbrook LLC (“Loopbrook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Loopbrook mobile application (Android and iOS), desktop application (macOS and Windows), and web application at https://loopbrook.com (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

• Account & Profile Information: When you create an account or sign in (via email/password, Passkeys, or Google Sign-In), we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, job title, company name, and profile avatar.
• Camera, Photos & Media Files (CAMERA / Photo Library Permissions): When you voluntarily capture or upload photos of business cards, conference slides, contact portraits, or clique media attachments, those images are uploaded to extract contact text (OCR) and store your digital contact cards and notes. We only access your camera or photo library when you actively initiate a scan or upload.
• Microphone & Voice Dictation (RECORD_AUDIO Permission): When you tap the microphone button to dictate notes or messages, audio is processed solely to transcribe speech into text for your note or message.
• Contacts, Notes, Cliques & Messages: We store the business card details, contact notes, reminders, clique posts, and direct messages you create or exchange within the app so they stay synchronized across your devices.
• Device & Diagnostic Data: Basic technical logs (such as app version, HTTP error status, and crash diagnostics) to maintain reliability and security.

2. How We Use Information & AI Processing

• Core Service Delivery: To digitize business cards, synchronize your contacts and notes across devices, facilitate direct messaging and Cliques, and send outreach or greeting cards you initiate.
• AI-Assisted Extraction & Enrichment: When you scan a business card or request a contact dossier or greeting card mockup, the relevant image or contact fields are processed via Google Cloud / Gemini APIs to extract structured contact fields, compile publicly available professional context, or generate requested visual assets.
• No Sale of Personal Data: Loopbrook LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or contact lists to third parties or advertisers.

3. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Your data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections and stored on secure Google Cloud infrastructure. Passwords are never stored in plain text (hashed with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256), and biometric passkeys use FIDO2/WebAuthn cryptographic standards. We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active or until you delete it.

4. Sharing & Third-Party Service Providers

We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Services (such as Google Cloud Platform for hosting, storage, and Gemini AI processing, and Google OAuth when you choose Google Sign-In), or with other Loopbrook users when you explicitly share a business card, clique post, or direct message with them.

5. Account & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You may edit or delete individual contacts, photos, notes, or messages directly inside the Loopbrook app at any time. To request permanent deletion of your entire Loopbrook account and all associated data, visit our Account & Data Deletion page or email support@loopbrook.com.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for professional and general audiences aged 13 and older and are not directed to children under 13.
